Eat Less CRAP and more FOOD

Carbonated drinks

  • Sodas can have tons of hidden sugars. If you buy diet soda, you won’t get as much sugar, but they are filled with artificial sweeteners. If you really want something carbonated, stick with seltzer or club soda and add your own flavorings (fruit works great)!

Refined sugar

  • Foods that include refined sugars include, but are not limited to sweets (donuts, cakes, candy), drinks (alcohol), cereals, and white grains.

Artificial sweeteners and colors

  • If you are going to use sweeteners, use a natural form. Honey and stevia are good alternatives.

  • Check the ingredients of any packaged food that you are eating. They may have hidden sweeteners.

Processed foods

  • Unfortunately processed foods are everywhere. When you can, eat REAL food!!

Eat more FOOD:

Fruits and veggies

  • We know they are good for us, yet for some reason we always forget them. Eat your fruits and veggies!!

  • Drink your Shakeology. It’s like having a full serving of your fruits and veggies in a glass, without the guilt :)

Organic lean proteins

  • Try to buy lean proteins over fatty ones. For example, check out lean ground turkey. It’s a perfect staple to have in your kitchen!!

Omega-3 fatty acids

  • When possible, try to get omega-3 fatty acids from foods rather than supplements.

Drink water

  • We’ll say it once, we’ll say it twice, and we will CONTINUE saying it… drink that water!!!!!
